I wasn’t sure what to expect with our first Airbnb experience so I can’t say enough how much I appreciate that the listing described exactly what we saw. We loved the peace and quiet, and the view!! The winding roads were also fun to drive when we ventured out. We were pleasantly surprised that some adventures were closer than we would’ve expected too. 10/10 would stay here again if (WHEN) we come back!

We had a great stay at this property. The pictures really do not do it justice great views very scenic and very private. It is up a steep incline, but you would love the peace and quiet that it brings plenty of amenities to enjoy while there the hot tub is top-tier one of the best hot tub I’ve experienced while renting through Airbnb. The place was clean and very well manicured. It really was a home away from home.

Would’ve been a perfect stay if it weren't from the last hour power outage; power went out one hour before the checkout time, emergency number listed (different person from the host) answered the phone call and promised to give a call back to give us an update about the power outage but never did, no backup generators or water system, We had to do everything in the dark.
Got visited by the bestest girl (dog), otherwise a perfect place, not too far from tourist/s spot, clean, complete amenities and a helpful host (helped us trouble shoot the microwave even if it’s late), will still definitely go back.

Place was exactly as described the cabin was in great shape and had plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. The tvs are great, great WiFi , the beds a little firm but nice, the upstairs shower awesome, the back decks were great nice views, pool table is tight space but lots of fun, arcade was awesome, and theatre seats were very comfortable for movie nights. Coffee bar was nice
Bring a few towels if your going to use the jacuzzi and we took the backroad up to the cabin using Wilhite rd which seemed shorter and less challenging and drive way can be a little challenging but once you get use to it totally fine even without 4 wheel drive

Absolutely loved this place!! Booked before really paying attention to reviews. Once I booked I was scrolling through the reviews and a few people had a little concern about the driveway so I was a little worried as I drive a small car. The driveway was not as bad as some describe you do need a little speed but nothing insane. The place is down right adorable and was spotless. They mention they provide just enough towels for one or two per guest. There is a hot tub so bring your own towels if that’s something you need. The pool table is in a bit of a tight space but that makes the game a little more difficult but fun at the same time. You have to maneuver your shots to accommodate the space. The hot tub was very relaxing. All n all we really enjoyed our stay. Absolutely no complaints what so ever. We will be booking this cabin again in the future!! Also the bear pictures in the driveway were pretty awesome!!!

This was our first ever Airbnb stay, and we were beyond happy with the experience! The cabin is adorable, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We loved how secluded and peaceful it felt, while still being a reasonable drive from attractions. The hot tub was a highlight and made our evenings extra enjoyable.
The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and hands off in the best possible way. Communication was quick and easy, which we really appreciated.
A couple of small notes for future guests: the drive up is quite steep, so extra caution at night is helpful, though we drove up without four wheel drive and had no issues. There were also a few minor housekeeping details such as stains on a blanket and a box of donuts left in the pantry from a previous stay, along with a few bugs around the property, which did not take away from our overall experience.
Overall, we had an amazing stay and are so happy this was our introduction to Airbnb. It definitely made us want to use it again!

I had an amazing stay at this cabin. The place was exactly what I was hoping for quiet and private it really felt like a getaway. Inside, everything was clean, comfortable, and well-kept. The hosts clearly put effort into the details, from the cozy layout to the simple touches that make it feel like home.
The location was perfect: close enough to everything to be convenient, but far enough away that you can actually relax. It was the kind of cabin where you step outside, take a breath, and instantly feel the stress drop off.
I’d absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, private escape.

I had a wonderful stay at Shane’s place. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and as described. The location was private and “Away From It All” which was great. There are lots to do at the cabin with board games, pool table, jacuzzi and movie seating to watch your favorite movie. Communications was great with the host. Such a nice and clean place with a beautiful view! The road is gravel and steep, so a truck or SUV works best a sedan will get stuck—but if you don’t mind walking the hill back home every time😂🥹 it’s no problem. Overall, I really loved it!

This location was beautiful. Fantastic view. Beware that the driveway is steep, we had to turn on our 4-wheel drive, so we didn't throw rocks everywhere, but it is nice and peaceful. The hot tub was great for the evenings. We were able to spend some much-needed relaxing time in the great outdoors with family as well as watching movies, playing games and Pac man! Fair warning, if you are not from Tennessee (like us) beware of the stinky millipedes that can make the whole place smell if they get inside. We had no idea what the smell of ammonia was on our second day, but we quickly figured it out when there was a dead one of the floor! Obviously, this is no fault of the homeowners, they were fantastic the whole trip and very responsive. Thanks so much for a peaceful stay! We will be staying here again!

We love this cabin. Somehow, it was even better than the pictures! The unobstructed view from the back deck is stunning and we were lucky enough to experience this secluded home before the neighboring cabin was completed (May 2025). It was SO QUIET out there, just the sounds of nature - no road noise. The beds are comfortable, the shower is awesome and the kitchen was well stocked. The home was clean, uncluttered, and nicely decorated with touches of softness among the quality, real wood furniture. If you like hiking the Smoky Mountains, the trails nearby are a dream so this makes for a wonderful home base. Highly recommend this cabin for a quiet get away from the world.

This was so much fun for our family! It rained while we were there so yeh gravel road to get to the cabin was a little washed down making it difficult to get up. Other than that it was a fantastic stay with beautiful views. Not being a local we drove a bit slower in the mountains but got easy to get used to the narrow roadways.
Would do this again!
Wish there was a bit more for littles to do during the trip as the yard is a steep hill and still being completed.
Looking forward to returning again one day!

So overall the stay was nice it was clean and kept up it had games to play at the table you had a theater system downstairs to have movie night with a arcade system as well the pool table was there as well. Not to far from downtown only about 30 minute drive down the mountain it was definitely secluded never saw anyone drive up the private driveway except for construction workers who were building a new cabin. The hot tub was a nice relaxer after the long day. The only thing I would say was the drive up to it was a little crazy because it was a country mountain road so barley any room for two cars and it was a steep fall and the road said 45mph on it yea no thank you. You will need a 4 wheel drive to get up to your cabin do not recommend anything else and the driveway was good size however I would still put a guard rail on the hill side for protection against any accidents and there is no backyard but they are adding a fire pit from the looks of it. Would recommend still good stay 👍?

The cabin is absolutely beautiful! The hosts are great and attentive. Lots and lots of activities to do at the cabin. The cabin is about 30 minutes from town. We got there late at night and it was a little difficult to find. The road is very curvy and the driveway is steep. Overall a great stay, I wish the driveway/road was mentioned prior though.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! We come from a busy city and it was so nice to get away from the noise. The area is super quiet, the cabin was spotless, the wood inside smelled so nice, and it came with everything we needed. The best part was having a movie night with popcorn in the theatre. Not to mention, a Pac Man machine for us adult kids, (My fiance and I, lol!) We had no major complaints at all. Just be prepared to have extra gas money if you want to visit Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge everyday because they are a little ways away. Also the roads leading up to the cabin are extremely narrow, but we already expected that. 10/10 would recommend ❤️

The cabin is exactly as seen in the photos, everything is clean and new, it is beautiful, spacious, the view is spectacular, they even decorated it for Christmas with a Christmas tree and everything is beautiful, excellent communication, I definitely recommend staying, it is a private and relaxing cabin, I recommend driving a 4WD SUV Truck, a car will not work for you. We will definitely return.

We had a great time at the cabin unfortunately for us the first night we got there we were hit by a driver that ran a red light and totaled our car. So didn’t get to do much shopping or site seeing around town. But we made the best of it and watched movies, cooked some great food enjoyed the hot tub and the wonderful views we had from the cabin. Really great place to stay. The host was quick with responding to any questions we had and its a super nice cabin. The only thing i will say is, when they say "away from it all" they mean it. its a solid 15-20 minute drive to get to any stores/gas stations, but on the bright side there was no traffic and it was extremely peaceful and quiet. Overall I would definitely recommend this place, just be prepared and buy what you need before settling down for the day/night!

I loved the place! It was about a 30-35 min drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. So as long as you know that up front and what you’re looking for, it’s perfect. Very secluded. House was very clean and tvs were great for kids. Be sure to note the name of the cabin (Away From it All) as that is the only signage as the end of the driveway. Overall great place and would stay again!

This cabin was beautiful! You can smell the newness as soon as you walk in. The layout is wonderful for kids or for two couples. The decorations and feel of the home is very well thought out. The view off the back deck is stunning and has plenty of seating. This place is very private and secluded. It was raining heavy when we got there and the slope headed to the property is steep. My front wheel sedan would not have made it. our AWD SUV worked fine. We went to Dollywood two days and it was about a 35 minute drive from the cabin. We loved the hot tub and had an awesome movie night. The shower on the first level is HUGE! The blinds were great quality and blocked out the sun for a nice sleep. The power went out(hurricane Helene) but was back on within 8 hours. in the meantime we used the propane grill to cook some food. otherwise, everything else in the property is electric. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it!

My partner and I rented this wonderful cabin as a stay-cation. It looked small from the front but the moment you walked in you discovered how beautifully open and spacious this cabin was. Everything was brand new and the owner paid attention to every detail ensuring our stay was as peaceful and relaxing as possible. At the same time, lots of entertainment to enjoy from the movie theater to the pool table. Such a lovely experience!

our stay at the cabin was absolutely fantastic! the cabin & the views are stunning. the location itself is only about half hour from pigeon forge which was very convenient. the kitchen has everything you need which was a big plus! it helped us save money by cooking breakfast ourselves. the hot tub was a nice touch, it helped us wind down after a long day of sight seeing and fun. we already want to come back! i’m excited to plan a future trip.

We loved our stay at “Away From it All”. Google maps led us a bit past the road to the cabin but once we realized the name of the cabin we turned around and saw the sign! Roads are well maintained. We really enjoyed this cabin. The property and home were beautiful and the area was very peaceful. It was a short drive to get to town with beautiful scenery. We came on vacation with 3 children and they really enjoyed the movie theater and arcade, however there wasn’t an area outside for them to play safely. They didn’t mind at all since they had stuff to do in the home. The house was clean and had all of the amenities needed for the stay. Shane made our stay simple and was always there to answer any questions. Our next trip to Tennessee we will definitely be booking with Shane! This cabin is a must see and was perfect for our vacation. Thank you Shane for opening your home to our family, we made so many wonderful memories that will last a life time, but we will be back soon!

We loved staying here. My children really enjoyed the movie theater, pac man, and hot tub. It was super cozy for the time we were there. My 4 year loved the bear decorations so much she wanted to buy another decoration while we were out in gatlinburg to “make the cabin pretty”. The passcode was a slight inconvenience being so long it wasn’t easy to remember. But overall enjoyed the cabin so much!

This property was beautifully done. New, nice, and private. Very comfortable! Conveniently located to both rafting and Pigeon Forge activities. A bear stole a shoe so follow the rules! We had a great time and the renting company was very responsive when we needed more sheets.

Smoky Mountain Holiday staff

Cabin is beautiful but a little tricky to find and I would recommend AWD or 4WD to get up the roads. It is secluded - you can see the headlights go by but you’re completely surrounded by forest. There was an active porch birds nest for our stay and it made mornings lovely! Hosts were super quick to respond to all our questions and even sent someone to get rid of some wasps nests near the hot tub before we were ready to use it. There were coffee pods to start out but bring your own cream and sugar. We ended up buying an extra blanket as we only found one so maybe pack one of those too. Having the washer & dryer made packing to go home a breeze. Road trip tip: the roads here can be very narrow and winding with blind hills - go slow and wait your turn and most importantly, don’t get too close to the edges or you’ll end up making friends with the locals who come to winch you out! The grill was a lovely touch and groceries were cheap - we loved it so much we ate in mostly. We’ll be back!
