This was my first Airbnb experience and I would give it a 9/10! The host was very responsive when the wrong code was sent to get in the main gate. The views were beautiful from the back! Not a far drive from downtown Gatlinburg.

This place is right by Dollywood. We could see the fireworks at night ! Cozy, clean and the AC was amazing in the Tennessee heat ! Love the pool table. Close to many attractions and restaurants.

The cabin was nice and clean and plenty of room to move around. The bedroom down stairs had a very comfortable bed which normally is hard to come by every where else i have stayed the beds are not the best for me. The location was great very close to all the places we wanted to go and other attractions if we decided to go we will stay here again when we come back up to the mountains!

If you're looking for a place to stay while in Pigeon Forge then look no further. You're 10-15 minutes from the best attractions but also getting the luxury of privacy. The cabin had the best view and even better amenities. It was great coming back after a day out and watching movies on the couch or playing a game of pool. 5 stars for the host too on their excellent communication!

My family enjoyed staying here! The view was great, and my kids loved the larger bunk beds and the pool table. Only issue we had was the gate code was not sent with the check-in process, but we were able to call and speak to them on a Sunday evening and we got it taken care of! The road to the cabin is very curvy, so we recommended bringing a car or small suv as parking was tight with our truck. We will definitely consider staying here again!

This is a really nice cabin. Great location. Very clean. Great amenities. No issues really. The fireplace was down, which was a little bit of a bummer, but communication was in place it was going to be that way due to it needing to be fixed. We just wish it had been working…but overall we had a really nice stay.

The house was well equipped with all you need. The beds slept wonderful and the sound of the river was so nice sitting on the porch. We enjoyed the fire pit also! Beautiful house!

Nice cabin in gated community. Cabin was clean. Communication from owners was prompt. Teenagers loved pool table and had upstairs to themselves. View from upstairs was beautiful! Only down side- if we had more than one car pakring would be problematic. But still give it 5 stars.

The place was perfect for our short stay. Very clean, and the kids enjoyed the space and bunk bed. One point of feedback is that the light fixture over the bunk bed hangs too low as my child hit her head on it twice while getting out of bed. That fixture needs to be replaced with something that doesn’t hang so low. Thank you!

I booked this little getaway for our family and we loved it. The cabin was great and so clean, i was able to communicate with the host easily. We made plenty of memories while there and got to see a momma bear n her cubs just outside by the car. Great area to stay and plenty of room in this little gem. We will definitely be coming back.

Our family had a great time at the Kick Back Shack! The cabin was exactly as described. It was clean, stocked with all the essentials, and super inviting. We loved how close it was to Dollywood and all of the Pigeon Forge attractions. And we got to see the summer Dollywood fireworks from the deck every night! We ventured out every day and enjoyed the community pool every evening. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. 10/10!

Great little cabin for our family vacation! Our kids loved the big bunk beds and learning how to play pool! Hot tub was nice in the evenings( and very clean), especially since we were able to watch the fireworks from Dollywood every night from the deck! That was a great bonus! Very close to Dollywood and pigeon forge. We loved the location. This is a part of a cabin community though, so don't expect to be isolated from others. There are a lot of other cabins around, however the view was still pretty great! Tip, bring your own pillow. Very clean and would stay here again.

I celebrated my thirty-sixth Birthday with three of my closest friends for three nights over an April weekend. We lucked out and had some of the best spring weather anyone can ask for (low-mid 60s and sunshine all day). The first and IMO best part about Justin and Kari's cabin is the view from the back porch. It's one of the most incredible views I've gotten to experience in the state of TN. It is one of the highest up cabins in the neighborhood and you can see for miles all the way to the smokies. You can also hear the steam train from Dollywood every 45 minutes or so during the day, not loud and annoying, just calmly in the background, it really made the trip feel like an authentic TN mountain cabin should. There really is so much to take in from the porch that we spent an entire evening just relaxing and watching the birds (we saw hawks, a falcon and what we think was an eagle) from the hot tub when we had originally planned to go fishing. It is about as close to Pigeon Forge as you could want to be while still feeling secluded and in the mountains. Justin and Kari were very responsive from day one when I booked until I checked out and always replied to my messages within a few minutes. Check in is a breeze and the cabin is very cozy with a fireplace and very nice TV. No complaints from our crew, we will certainly be back to the kick back shack!

Visited over Spring break with my husband and two kids (ages 2 & 5). The location was great, just minutes away from Dollywood and a short drive from the national park/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. While it is part of a resort area, it still managed to feel secluded, and the amenities were perfect for a family getaway (hot tub, community indoor pool, and BBQ grill). Would highly recommend!

If you are looking for a good location in the Dollywood area of Pigeon Forge, I would recommend this cabin. It is conveniently located and accessible. The description is as accurate as you would expect on VRBO for a cabin that has been used consistently. As other reviewers have noted, the master bed is extra firm. The double bunk beds are a great asset. I would suggest bringing extra and bigger towels if that is important to you. The view is excellent. Although surrounded by other cabins, it does not "feel" like you are on top of other guests. Overall good experience.

Justin and Kari's cabin was just what I needed to get away and have a peaceful healing "me time". It was quiet and the view was spectacular. Justin was always responsive to any questions I had and made me feel comfortable staying in my first ever AirB&B! He also checked in periodically to make sure I had everything I needed which was greatly appreciated. The gated community and secure locks on the cabin made me feel safe while staying by myself in a cabin. A must stay! I will be staying here again.

Justin's place was amazing and we enjoyed our stay here—well located and great view of the mountains as well as a calm and quiet location. We enjoyed the entertainment zone and the great interiors. The only point to improve would be to keep some additional provisions in the kitchen like cooking oil, salt, and condiments for quick cooking and additional toilet paper for the bathroom and I am certainly not going to reduce any stars for that because of the great other things.

Spacious cabin with a great view from the deck and Justin was responsive to all messages throughout the booking process and our stay. Cabin is in a gated resort, right outside Dollywood, and close to many other attractions and shopping spots. There are so many amazing ways to explore the mountain in the area. We rented a UTV to take up to Clingman's Dome, The Sinks and many other stops, ziplined and rode horseback on the mountain. Had breakfast at The Mill and dinner at JT Hannah's for a few of the local meals. Dollywood was amazing. We'd love to visit again at Christmas time!

It was a great weekend stay. The host is very nice and responsive. The place was very clean. If you are planning on going to Dollywood I definitely recommend. The only turn you have to make after getting out of the resort is left into Dollywood.

This cabin was beautiful and just like the pictures. The location was gated and secluded, and the view of this specific cabin was awesome. Super clean and lots of room. Only thing I would say is upstairs tv didn’t work no matter what we did. Would recommend and come back!

The Kick Back Shack cabin was an incredible experience. The cabin was in a private gated community that had breathtaking views of the mountains. The cabin was very clean, all amenities working, the boys enjoyed their queen sized bunk beds, jacuzzi was used nightly, and the pool table provided evening entertainment. Highly recommend the Kick Back Shack Cabin for a weekend getaway or week of vacation.

My family and I really enjoyed the cabin. It has a nice view of the mountains and every night you can see the Dollywood fireworks from the hot tub. I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge. We will definitely go back in the future.

This Airbnb was a wonderful place to stay. It is located in a small culdesac, so you have neighbors, but because of the rounded street structure you can not see them sitting from the back porch and instead all you see is the mountain views. We saw Dollywood fireworks from the porch (in the hot tub) every night!
Like mentioned in another review, the pool table room is not meant for experts, due to it being smaller than standard size, a window in the way of shooting on one wall (heads-up if you have kids!), and it being slightly tilted, but it was certainly fun for us!
The only complaint we really had was the water coming out of a faucet upstairs sprayed quite a bit when turned on.
Overall, we would stay here again and again!

Cabin was perfect for our family of 4. Beautiful location and views. We were able to watch the Dollywood fireworks each night from the hot tub. Very clean and a great location away from the tourist traffic, but close enough to enjoy all the amazing sites nearby.

1539 Booboos way was very! nice. the area is well kept. It revealed I was not used to steep locations. Following 1st day I was good to go though, it grew on me immediately. Give it a go!

This cabin was perfect for our family of 9. There was plenty of space. The views were perfect. We were secluded, but also in a gated community. The cabin was clean. We had some issues with the Wi-Fi on the living room tv, but Justin did what he could to help. We didn’t really plan on watching tv anyways. All in all, it was a great trip & we’d be glad to book with him again!

Beautiful cabin. Great location. Our family felt right home. Our daughter loved the pool and hot tub every night. My husband said this was his favorite cabin that we've ever stayed at. Justin was a great host and responded very quickly when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again.

We came from Texas to have a mini vacation away from the city and this cabin did not fail!! We had a great time. My kids enjoyed the pool table and hot tub and also the community pool as well. Only thing there is no pantry and I had to fit all my food on the counter and usually homes have basic necessities like salt so I didn’t bother to bring any but I just went down to Walmart down the street nothing major. We also got to see a black bear he stole our trash out the bin we recorded the whole thing lol

Justin’s cabin is absolutely amazing!! The cabin is so cute and home-y! My husband and I stayed for our anniversary and had a great time! It’s very close to Dollywood so perfect for people looking to go to the amusement park. Justin gave us a whole list of recommendations of things to do in the area which was so helpful!! He was also very quick to respond with any questions we had. We will definitely be staying here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the "Kick Back Shack" and would gladly stay there again! The location was ideal -- just a few minutes from Dollywood and the Parkway, and just far enough off the main roads that it was quiet & peaceful. Even in terms of the location in the resort, it had a bit more privacy than most cabins, because it was on a cul-de-sac and not side-by-side with the neighboring cabins. The cabin was comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed without having "too much" -- our kids enjoyed the pool table, and we preferred that it didn't have a game room with lots of arcade games like similar listings. We also enjoyed relaxing on the deck and in the private hot tub. The resort seems to be one of only a few in the area with an indoor community pool that is open year round (it happened to be closed for maintenance during our stay, but there was so much to do in the area that it wasn't a problem). Justin was incredibly responsive, and provided a super helpful guidebook.
