Difficulty: Moderate, Length: 5.1 mi

Rainbow Falls is a popular hiking trail that features a stunning waterfall, a lush forest, and more. The best time to visit is March through November. Be sure to start early to avoid potential weekend crowds.

Laurel Falls Trail

Difficulty: Easy, Length: 2.4 mi

Popular for hiking and walking, Laurel Falls is a beautiful trail that is open all year round. It’s also a paved trail, but it’s not suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Be sure to start early to avoid potential weekend crowds.

Chimney Tops Trail

Difficulty: Hard, Length: 3.6 mi

On the Chimney Tops Trail, hikers get to enjoy breathtaking mountain views with each step. This trail starts out flat but elevates as you make progress. Be sure to start early to avoid potential weekend crowds.

Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail

Difficulty: Easy, Length: 6.7 mi

This is an easy driving trail for anyone that wants to enjoy the joys of hiking without having to walk. This scenic driving trail features black bears, streams, historical homes, and more.

Sugarlands Valley Nature Trail

Difficulty: Easy, Length: 0.5 mi

This is a super easy and short wheelchair-accessible and stroller-friendly trail with an option for an easy walk to downtown Gatlinburg. It takes about 10 minutes to complete and is open year-round.
